The first website I ever created was for The American College of Heraldry (only very recently brought into the 21st century, kicking and screaming), which needed broader marketing than just letters and word of mouth. Granted, it was extremely rudimentary, as it was all raw html code (there was none of that fancy WYSIWYG as yet, and certainly not the type of layout design tools available now that make the most up-to-date sites possible, even for a partially-trained baboon like me9august was a very small firm (oh, hell, it was only me).

But at the time, I was THE resource for friends and associates and associates of associates to produce simple, straightforward websites.

Thus, I gained extensive experience in designing websites for clients, from individuals who just wanted a family site, to corporations who wanted to detail their entire corporate structure.
